Preparation is key to a great looking, long lasting result
Full house repaints start from the top down.
The first step is to wash away the years of dirt and grime. Roof, gutters, fascia's, eves, windows, doors and then walls. If your exterior is weatherboard, timber, brick, render, fibro or any style of façade we can revitalise it.
Urban Painting and Decorating specialise in red brick recolouring or rendering, mismatched bricks can be painted to match or painted to suit a modern colour scheme.
Roof Restoration
A New Look and Increased Efficiency!
Old concrete tiled or Color bond roofs can be instantly transformed with our thorough restoration techniques and the resulting finish will affect a dramatic change and lift in the appearance of any home. Our four stage approach ensures the best possible finish which will still look fantastic years into the future.
Day 1: Washing down, cleaning and sterilising of any mould
Day 2: Thoroughly sealing the roof ensuring no areas are porous.
Day 3: Checking all pointing and ridge capping of tiles or iron ensuring it is all in sound condition. (If repairs are required we can take care of that either in house or by one of our trusted partners)
Day 4: Paint roof in desired colour, using a Dulux Cool Roof™ with InfraCOOL® Technology membrane paint with UV protection giving you a fantastic new look roof while also decreasing the heat coming into your home.
Most roof restorations also include gutters and downpipes as well. Which means all gutters and downpipes are thoroughly cleaned and repaired if required, before sealing and painting. We don’t take short cuts here.

Rendering
A new look, and a new price bracket for your home
Rendering can transform a home and bring a new look to an older building.
Current rendering is priced per square meter. As a guide measure the square meters (width x height) of your wall surfaces ( including window and door areas as rendering reveals for these areas is time consuming) and we can then provide you with an instant estimate for rendering your home.
After your home is rendered, it takes between 4 - 6 weeks to sufficiently dry and then we can paint the render with a coat of undercoat and two coats of finish in the colour of your choice. The result is a transformation which generally adds revalue to residential properties well beyond the initial cost.

Ongoing Maintenance
Free Inspection!
Once our job is completed we leave you with a touch up kit for future use and reference.
We also touch base around 12 months after completion to arrange a FREE inspection of our work, checking all the high traffic areas like front and rear doors, walkways, kitchens and bathrooms. Exteriors are checked, especially western sides and where plants are close to painted surfaces.
